Individual Psychotherapylooks different for each person.
I typically support folks who wish to focus on such things as identity, relationships, meaning, existential questioning, self-awareness, spiritual development, and soul connection. I work in a holistic way to support recovery from such challenges as depression, anxiety, and trauma or post traumatic stress disorder (ptsd).
Our work together might include deep exploration of personal history, noticing inhibiting life patterns, increasing intimacy with loved ones and strengthening relationships, somatic exploration, centering body wisdom, cultivating mindful presence and awareness, dream analysis, archetypal and mythological framing of life experiences, active imagination, and increasing effectiveness for navigating daily living.
I work often with therapists and therapists in training, healers of all backgrounds, caregivers, artists, activists, highly sensitive and creative beings.
I have a sensitivity and awareness for the nuances and complexities of tending to the soul of others and tending the soul of the world. This awareness is woven into all aspects of our work together.
When we are present to ourselves we are present to others in a whole new way. In the world of the Self, we meet all of those of whom we are a part, whose hearts we have touched. Here there is no aloneness, only presence. ~Marion Woodman
